You can cost-effectively upgrade a number of components in the iMac Intel 24" EMC 2118.

  • Memory: The iMac Intel 24” EMC 2111 shipped with 1 GB (two 512 MB modules) of RAM. If your iMac is still running with only the stock RAM, upgrading will provide a dramatic performance boost at minimal cost. Upgrading to the official maximum of 3 GB (one 2 GB module and one 1 GB module) can be done very easily.
  • Hard Drive: 250 GB hard drives came standard with the iMac Intel 24” EMC 2111. You can upgrade the drive to a lightning fast SSD.
